American born artist Maria McElroy synthesized her love of blending colours and textures with her passion for scent to create aroma M perfumes in 1995. Maria's seven-year journey rich in Japanese history, romance and mystery, became the genesis for aroma M beauty and the inspiration for the capsule collection of Geisha beauty products.

Maria's appreciation for Japanese culture and aesthetics in addition to her extraordinary experiences in the secretive world of the Kyoto Gion Geisha’s, have been the bases for aroma M’s Beauty products. Steeped in the ways of ancient Eastern traditions, and adhering to the Eastern mandate that beauty is a daily responsibility; at aroma M Beauty lies in the choice of unexpected, precious ingredients. The Gourmand combinations are a direct influence from Maria’s Kyoto born chef husband. Tuberose and Rosemary, Jasmine, and Frankincense essential oils are designed to smell beautiful and simultaneously enchant the mind, the soul, and the skin. Drawing on her Aromatherapy background, Maria has conjured elixirs that will satisfy all your beauty needs.

We will offer beauty products using organic cold pressed oils, organic essential oils, carefully selected for the ultimate refined beauty experience. The initial two offerings are the Camellia Hair Oil and Camellia Face Oil.

The aroma M Beauty line is held in a modern art nouveau glass bottle. Each bottle is adorned with Aroma M’s signature patterned Yuzen paper designs, handcrafted in Kyoto to complete this Japonesque design.

aroma M Beauty oils are made in small batches and contain all natural ingredients. For best results they should be used within six months of purchase.

We are proud to present, Geisha Amber Rouge.

Following in the tradition of the grand perfume house of Guerlain with Shalimar Initial and Chanel with Chanel No. 5 Eau Permiere, we have taken our cult favorite, Geisha Rouge, and given it a new interpretation - Geisha Amber Rouge. This is a beautiful feminine fragrance composed of seductive sensual spices and woods. It is mellow yet racy, smoky and appealing. It is a gentle, irresistible red flame conveying the meaning of vivacious sensuality held in check but just barely.

Geisha Amber Rouge gives a nod to Oriental perfumery in its use of rare vintage ingredients from the desert. Moroccan amber joins forces with deep wood resins, cinnamon, clove and hints of star anis. Characteristically spicy notes of the original Geisha Rouge blend with that of Japanese incense. Inspired by exotic travels to Morocco and Istanbul, Geisha Amber Rouge is a perfume poem, an ode to the Byzantine. Drawing on the treasured oils from the silk road, Geisha Amber Rouge is representative of aroma Ms cross-cultural fluency in creating perfumes, creating an olfactory journey between east and west.
